The hotel is undergoing serious renovations that pose safety threats to guests. Would not recommend and will not return.… Instead of giving us the next available pizza we we’re put back in line to wait another 30 minutes. Waited an hour and received the wrong pizza. The next morning we went back to the water park and it was significantly warmer and the kids fort was in and running. They were out of fudge for it so that was disappointing. When it was my turn we wanted the s’mores bowl. There were two people working and one was a trainee. Also the kids fort area was shut off, this was not part of the advertised renovation. We then went to the water park where it was noticeably cold. Someone came down with bath towels and a trash bag with about 30 bars of soap and a dozen packets of shampoo. We called the front desk and informed them of the issue. I doula member of housekeeping and was told they have a supply and towel shortage so they arnt putting them out. We noticed that there were no wash cloths, no hand towels, no soap and only 4 towels. We checked out the room before heading to the water park. A room was ready but it took that inconvenience to get in the room. I need to go back in the check in line to inform them that I haven’t received a text yet. Being told that I knew there would be an issue. I was told if we don’t receive a text by 4pm to check back in. We arrived at 3pm, checked in and we’re told we would receive a text when our room was ready. I recently started at this location with my family, 5 of us, for a night. I don’t complain often but this was a miserable experience. If it doesn’t exist, why pretend? It’s misleading and false advertising. They depict a course that doesn’t exist yet. There isn’t…the depict happy kids splashing in a pool that doesn’t exist yet. It would appear from the site that their is a high ropes course and outdoor pool. It’s basically a few mirrors and 4 tasks for the kids to complete minus the one explosive station that was broken. It had a broken section which I’m sure would have been a little bit fun for the boys. We did the Miners experience, and that was not worth the money. Everything is incredibly expensive and somewhat broken. Large air is a mix of construction dust and chlorine which irritated my eyes terribly. You can see the dust from the construction collected on all of the surfaces. There are signs of construction everywhere. The construction workers were throwing tiles to the top. Upon arrival, there was only one set of doors available at the entrance because they were tiling the front entrance top. It is not a little refurbishment as indicated on the site. The Long Life Coolant is the orange juice concentrate you have to mix with water before you want to drink it.ġ1 yearsHow Long Does Antifreeze Last In My Subaru? Your Subaru vehicle was pre-filled from the factory with Subaru Super Coolant, which has been specially engineered for exceptionally long life. The Subaru Super Coolant is the orange juice you buy in the bottle, pour, and drink. Genuine Subaru SOA868V9270 Super Coolant. According to Subaru the new Coolant must NOT be mixed with any other type of coolant. This coolant is blue in color and every bottle has a big “S” in the middle and a red cape on it. The new 2008 Subaru WRX STI and all of the 2009 model year Subaru’s use a new type of coolant dubbed by Subaru as “Subaru Super Coolant”. Most likely because the horizontal design of Subaru engines keeps the head gaskets always submerged in coolant. Subaru does not want these additives to be used on their engines. This means that it does not contain Supplemental Coolant Additives. The Subaru Super Coolant is an ASTM D-3306 anti freeze. Formulated for long-lasting corrosion and rust protection for all cooling system components, this prediluted antifreeze/engine coolant prevents the use of poor quality water that can lead to cooling system failure. Starting in 2008 Subaru went to a new Super long life coolant, it was only supposed to be in the STI in 2008 and all other models by 2009 but we have observed plenty of 2008 Outback’s that came from the factory with Blue Super long life coolant rather than the green long life. I eventually sold the Subaru but still had the coolant. I used to own a Subaru, so I had a gallon of the Genuine Subaru stuff. Is Subaru coolant the same as Honda coolant? She has never stopped praying and interceding for those sick and afflicted, and for this reason, Archbishop Samuel J. The Church carries out this ministry by praying and accompanying the sick and those who suffer. Christ’s example to his disciples is meant to be one to one for us, too. It is also important to notice that he performed many of these healings before his disciples to teach them the significance of this ministry of compassion. In the Gospels, Jesus is constantly pastorally caring for the sick and suffering. However, through the Lord’s mercy in response to an individual’s intercession, we often observe miraculous healings. The Bible is full of passages and scenes of people suffering from illnesses. The following week, they learned that the woman they had prayed for spent her birthday at home with her family with considerable improvement! My birthday is in two days, and I would like to be at home with my family but let God’s will be done.” The man and his daughter made a brief prayer with and for her according to her fears and desires. I do not think I will leave this place alive. She joyfully agreed and responded by saying, “I am scared. Arriving at the hospital, the man and his daughter entered the room of the woman, introduced themselves, and asked if they could pray over her. His daughter had never asked him anything like this before, but inspired by her motivation, he agreed to go. She is ill and I would like to pray with her.” Surprised at the invitation, the man glanced at his watch and calendar. But how can we do this in our daily lives?Ī couple of months ago, a man’s daughter called him on the phone and said, “Dad, I would like for you to accompany me to the hospital to visit a relative of a friend of mine. Paul tells us that God is compassion and encouragement himself, and that we who have received these graces from God are asked to share it with others. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and God of all encouragement, who encourages us in our every affliction, so that we may be able to encourage those who are in any affliction with the encouragement with which we ourselves are encouraged by God” (2 Cor 1:3-4). This "explosive radiation coincided with a remarkable floral invasion of Asian rainforests from the Indian microcontinent. (2011) sequenced the cytochrome-b gene and discovered that all clades leading to frugivorous hornbills originated in the mid-Eocene ~48 million years ago. The fruits upon which this one has been dining appear the photo (above). Trumpeter Hornbill is a large species of central and southeastern forests in Africa. The rainforest hornbills are primarily frugivores, but supplement their diet with animal matter (lizards, snakes, arachnids) during nesting. I've combined it with my habitat shot at the location, and the collage is just below: I took a rather bad flight shot of Rhinoceros Hornbill that trip, as it flew over the Kinabatagan River. I was also fortunate to later see the Helmeted in Sumatra, deep in primary forest where I was eventually driven out by attacking leeches! On our Aug 2003 visit to Danum Valley, we saw 8 species, including both the Helmeted and the Rhinoceros. I saw 7 of these (plus heard the Helmeted) during a 3-day visit in Aug 1988. Nine species inhabit Danum Valley reserve in the north Borneo lowlands. I have visited two spots on earth that host a great diversity of hornbills, one of them in Asia. It is Rhinoceros Hornbill that is featured on the cover of Smythies' (1960) classic Birds of Borneo (right) - a favorite painting of mine. The Great Indian, the maniacal Helmeted, and the huge-billed Rhinoceros are perhaps the most impressive of the hornbills. Male Helmeted Hornbills are busy in defense of their territorial boundaries." Cackling loudly, they ram into one another like mountain sheep. Two huge birds then burst across the dome of the sky, their naked red heads extended and metre-long tail feathers trailing behind. More hoots follow at intervals, accelerating in tempo until they break suddenly into peals of maniacal laughter. Raindrops pattering on the foliage and distant rumble of a retreating thunderstorm form a backdrop of sound, though, which penetrates a single mournful hoot. The giant trees of the rainforest rise on each bank like cathedral spires, and the creepers which festoon them form cloisters that conceal the dark damp interior. What a treat to hear! This is a very distant shot of a male Helmeted Hornbill (below) in Borneo:Īlan Kemp, world authority on this family, must agree, for he begins his Hornbills book (1995) this way: "Imagine being on the tropical island of Borneo and drifting quietly down a stream in a dug-out canoe. Yet I will admit that I think of tropical Asia as the "land of the hornbill." So many of the spectacular huge hornbills are here, such as: a stunning male Red-necked Hornbill (above) in Bhutan, or Great Indian Hornbill (left) in in Indian foothills.Īnd some have incredible calls: those of the Helmeted Hornbill may be the most impressive bird vocalizations in the world: a series of hoots accelerate in speed and intensity until they break into peals of hysterical laughter. As we shall see below, there are some impressive hornbills in Africa. I have found numerous articles about similar situations but most members have their membership revoked and are then banned for life. Ultimately, the review (whicvh proably never happened) determined that he was allowed to stay employed and teach. I told him this instructor taught at all local locations. This was afetr he offered his suggestion for me to change clubs. After speaking to the same man at corporate over two consecutive days, he backpeddaled what he originally told me and refused to advise their corporate policy on this situation. I tried contact corporate but they close ranks. I was stunned to find out that after these two allegations and having been placed on review that Equinox allowed to continue to teach pending the outcome of that review. The screen shot of these messages were sent to management and, again, I was told that they had a zero-tolerance policy and this matter would be taken very seriously as he was now under review. After he was advised of the report, he retaliated to me on social media sending me threatening messages. I was told they had a zero-tolerance policy and that this matter would be taken very seriously. Well, he behaved quite inappropriately and I reported him to management.
